Album Summary
Performer
Jan Lisiecki (Piano)
Notes & Reviews:
Critics call Jan Lisiecki an "aristocrat of the piano," an "extraordinary talent," and praise him for "remarkably poetic and imaginatively executed [playing]." At age 14, he has already made a name for himself on Canadian and international stages. This recording of the Piano Concertos in F minor and E minor, which were performed at the National Philharmonic Concert Hall during the festival "Chopin and His Europe" in 2008 and 2009 respectively, features the great Canadian talent. He is accompanied by the Sinfonia Varsovia, conducted by British conductor and pianist Howard Shelley.
Notes & Reviews:Recording information: Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, Poland.
