Francis Poulenc composed some 90 songs for Pierre Bernac and other composers, including Andre Jolivet and Henri Sauget dedicated works to him. Bernac and Poulenc toured extensively, giving highly successful concerts in the musical capitals of the world.

Hunting horn players are the ambassadors of the hunt. Hunting-horn music has undergone a renaissance in Austria and is kept alive by the Jagdhorn Akademie Ensemble, whose mission is to promote this unique body of music.
