The pan flute (or panpipe) is the world's oldest known musical instrument. It consists of 22 bamboo cane pieces that are glued together. Thanks to folk music, most people are aware of the instrument, but it is an extraordinary achievement for Simion Stanciu to play classical music on the instrument.
