Notes & Reviews:

Victory and defeat, hope and despair, love and hate. In the operas and oratorios by George Frideric Handel, all aspects of life are explored. Spotlighting tenor Leif Aruhn-Solen, New Trinity Baroque presents arias in an intimate chamber music setting.

American Record Guide, September/October 2013
Three are from Italian operas (Tamerlano, Partenope), and the remaining seven are from English works (Acis and Galatea, Samson, Semele, Athalia, Israel in Egypt, Jephtha, and, as an afterthought, Messiah). There's also a second bonus, a scanty Handel Trio Sonata. The work of five string players, led from the harpsichord by Gosta, is excellent as such. This New Trinity Baroque group was founded Gosta in London and is now based in Atlanta GA. This release appears to be its first recording.
