The St. Emmeram Codex is one of the very few large manuscripts of polyphonic music to have survived in Western Europe from the late Middle Ages. Sung by Stimmwerck, a male vocal quartet founded in 2001, the vocal music is supplemented by music for organ from the Buxheim Organ Book.
