Georg Kulenkampff: Concerto Recordings, Vol. 3

Notes & Reviews:

Most of Kulenkampff’s studio concerto recordings, including all three on this disc, were made for Telefunken with the Berlin Philharmonic in the room at the Singakademie, described as an ideal hall. Kulenkampff was known for the unique incandescence of his tone and his supple cantilenas.
