Notes & Reviews:
Young Québec harpist Valérie Milot, described as "very refined" artist (La Presse, Montréal) has an impeccable technique and is such a colorful and powerful musician that she challenges all the clichés about her instrument. Alone or in the company of other instruments, the harp's unique sonority can evoke either the wind blowing or the heart beating. This recording takes the listener through the 20th century, building in intensity as it reveals the harp's many facets, whether in a solo, accompaniment or chamber music setting.
Notes & Reviews:Recording information: Church of Saint-Augustin de Mirabel (10/2010).
