Since her debut performance in the Mostly Mozart Festival at the Sydney Opera House in 1992, Vivian Choi has performed widely throughout Australia, Europe, Russia and the United States. Some of her numerous prizes include first place in the Maria Yudina International Piano Competition; the Peter De Grote International Music Competition and the Dobrich-Albena International Music Competition. She studied piano in Australia and in Russia at the Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory as well as the New England Conservatory. She is on the faculty of the Long Island Conservatory.
