This release is the first of five striking vocal and instrumental by American composers featuring the acclaimed North/South Chamber Orchestra and distinguished soloists. Conductor Max Lifchitz is renowned for his interpretations of contemporary music. The American Record Guide called him "one of America's finest exponents of contemporary music." The featured soloist is Grammy nominated Soprano Elizabeth Farnum, violist Rita Porfiris and harpist Megan Levin.
