Dances Around the World is a wonderfully eclectic compilation of dance pieces from several different countries. Recorded by the United States Army Band, this album is beautifully performed from start to finish, each emotive piece performed with a sweeping elegance. The works on the album were written by some of the greatest composers of all time, including Johann Strauss, Sergei Rachmaninoff, James Barnes, and Malcolm Arnold. Pieces on the album include: "Symphonic Dance Op. 45 No.3," "Russian Sailors' Dance," "Dances of Galanta," "Emperor Waltz Op 437," "Wedding Dance," "Torch Dance," and "Four Scottish Dances Op 59." The talent and dedication of the US Army Band have made it one of the best bands in the world, and Dances Around the World is a testament to that reputation.
