This third disc in Guild's series of Amy Beach's piano music incorporates music composed between 1907 and 1924. It was a transitional time in her life, as her husband died in 1910 and she was free to pursue her own interests, which involved a European tour promoting her music; a move to New Hampshire and the beginning of a long relationship with the MacDowell Colony.
