Notes & Reviews:

These two Sainte-Colombe albums were recorded in 1976 and 1992 - the latter right after the tremendous success of the film Tous les Matins du Monde (1991). Nevertheless, they are remarkably consistent in their interpretative style and enable the listener to explore ten of the sixty-seven Concerts for viola da gamba as played by Jordi Savall and Wieland Kuijken. This specially-priced set, has been remastered for SACD and features Alia Vox's usual deluxe packaging and presentation.
