Album Reviews:

Rolling Stone (p.71) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "There are times when GOD FORGIVES is as engrossing and surprising as rap can be....Over beats that alternate between sparkling, decadent string arrangements and assaultive, synthesized blare, Ross pretzels hip-hop's familiar rags-to-riches arc into a Mobius strip..."

Entertainment Weekly (p.74) - "The undisputed album centerpiece is '3 Kings,' a round-robin lyrical throwdown with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre....GOD FORGIVES is the first album that really feels like it was made by a boss." -- Grade: A-

Billboard (p.26) - "Ross can still spit arrogant game with the best of them: On 'So Sophisticated,' he extends a simple rhyme scheme for two-and-a-half minutes until his words hypnotically blend into Beat Bully's production."

Album Notes

Photographer: Clay Patrick McBride.

Sure, he grounded two commercial air flights after suffering some minor seizures, but if his Twitter account didn't alert you, his recent singles should have proven that the Teflon Don is well and all good. Both "You the Boss" and "I Love My Bitches" land on Ross' 2012 album God Forgives, I Don't, a slick and star-studded effort with guest stars that run from Jay-Z to Mary J. Blige, and production that comes from the likes of the Alchemist and Just Blaze.
