As his contemporary Martha Argerich also Salvatore Accardo amazed the world of classical music already since a young age. In fact, in 1958 when he was just 17, he won the Paganini competition in Genoa. He started so his extraordinary career which brought him to remain one of the internationally most acclaimed soloists until nowadays.

He dedicated to the Genoese composer his first recordings and many others in latter times. Our new CD is featuring some of the most famous pieces of the Paganinian repertoire recorded by Accardo during the years 1959/60 together with the pianist Antonio Beltrami whose impeccable virtuosism is wedded with a genuine and lively musicality.
