The Italian duo piano team of Maurizio Moretti and Angela Oliviero offer a program for piano, four-hands of French compositions.

The incomplete English translations of the Japanese booklet notes are laughable. Moretti and Oliviero have been a duo team since 1990, and their dead-on ensemble clearly reflects that. They met while both studying with Aldo Ciccolini and are married and have a son. They are both professors of piano at the Music Conservatory in Cagliari, where Oliviero is also the music department head. There is a palpable joy in their playing that is infectious. Complement their performances with outstanding recorded sound and the only thing missing is booklet notes - a small detail. This is a must have release.
