Conductor Ensemble ComposerNotes & Reviews:
One of two wonderful Erato reissues this month with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, both featuring the late great Lorraine Hunt Lieberson. "Majestic fury..." - Village Voice
Fanfare Magazine, September/October 2012
In all but Panzarella, Christie's Hippolyte et Aricie is as good as or better than Minkowski. It's great to see it back in print again, and reason once more to regret the loss of Erato as an active record producer.
Recording information: Salle Wagram, Paris (10/06/1996-10/13/1996).
