Notes & Reviews:

Two major Danish composers who lived during the same period are featured on this recording performed by musicians from the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and Vienna Philharmonic. They are joined by Japanese pianist Yoko Fog-Urata.

American Record Guide, July / August 2012
I think if it's the five Novelettes that attract you, the MDG is the one to have. If it's the Trio in F you will like this new recording. Mr Koncz has been principal second violin with the Vienna Philharmonic since he was 21; he's still under 25. His sound is very good. The cellist is Danish and has a rich tone. The pianist, his wife, is fine.
