Notes & Reviews:

Lullabies covers a wide spectrum of both time periods and cultures. The journey begins in the 16th century, with a Catalan lullaby "El Noi de la Mare", on into the Romantic period with the Wiegenlieder of Schumann, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms and von Weber and then finally to the 21st century with newly composed pieces specifically for this project, songs from the Czech composer Bodorova and Italian Fontanelli.

American Record Guide, September / October 2012
Minor quibbles aside, this recital is very well done. Siewers plays with utmost taste and balance - she's a superb musician and knows just how these lovely works should go. And I don't think I'm projecting (no kids in my life), but I can really feel her love and affection for her grandchildren. May they treasure this, now and as they grow.
