Following the huge success of Mozart: l'Opera Rock, producers Dove Attia and Albert Cohen teamed up yet again for the musical 1789: Les Amants de la Bastille, a tale of forbidden love set during the French Revolution. This official soundtrack, released six months before the production's initial run at Palais des Sports de Paris, features 14 contemporary pop/rock show tunes performed by the likes of Natalie Peyre (Solène), Matthieu Carnot (Lazare), and Rod Janois (Camille Desmoulins), including both the studio and acoustic versions of lead single "Ça Ira Mon Amour." ~ Jon O'Brien
