Principal bassoonist of the Hamburg Philharmonic, Christian Kunert, performs concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, Gordon Jacob, Jean Françaix and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Kunert is the recipient of many awards including the 2nd prize and public's choice award at the 57th annual ARD music competition in Munich, prize winner at the 1st Theodor-Rogler Chamber Music Competition and prize winner at the international woodwinds competition in Bayreuth, Germany.
