Notes & Reviews:

Italian pianist Christian Leotta returns with Volume IV of his complete cycle of Beethoven's piano sonatas. Christian Leotta has been defined by the legendary Rosalyn Tureck as "an extraordinary talent with a beautiful innate musicality, " and the great Karl Ulrich Schnabel wrote about him: "his respect of the indications of the Classical and Romantic composers is perfect and their understanding considerable."

American Record Guide, November/December 2012
This is not an entirely unpleasant listening experience: Sonata 1 and Sonata 4 are crisply done. Leotta is an agile performer who has researched these pieces extensively, and it is a shame that this ambitious project cannot compare to recordings by Brendel and Goode and others.

Gramophone Magazine, August 2013
For once the hyperbole rings true...Musicianly to the core, this young Italian pianist quietly but unmistakeably commands your attention at every level. His musical focus and concentration are unswerving, nothing is rushed or overly volatile...You will rarely encounter performance more meticulously prepared.
