Notes & Reviews:

This World War II opera, set during the Battle of Monte Cassino, presents a universal experience of war with a uniquely New Zealand perspective. Contains chants notated by the composer at the Benedictine Abbey at Cassino, combining effects, chamber orchestra, and the new Klais Auckland Town Organ. The booklet contains some previously unpublished original photos from after the battle, and full libretto.
