Notes & Reviews:
Cellist Anthony Arnone enjoys a varied career as a soloist, chamber musician, conductor and teacher throughout the United States and around the world. He offers a program of creative and innovative new works for cello by composers who are first generation Korean-American (Serra Hwang), Chinese-American (Huang Ruo), and Russian-American (Lera Auerbach) along with Jay Greenberg.
American Record Guide, November/December 2012
Looking back on this program of youthful pieces by young composers, I have to thank Arnone for having put it together. He is a warm cellist, not a tremendously polished one but one whose musical tastes and involvement with new music are well worth following up.
