Notes & Reviews:

This album presents Debussy's works from 1891 to 1915 in a totally new light, with which he would have most certainly agreed. Wind instruments, to which Debussy dedicated the end of his life, are featured strongly on this recording.

Sunday Times, July 2012
It's certainly odd to hear Fêtes...rendered by trumpet and piano (a transcription by Joachim Jousse), but the pinpoint sonority adds an interesting analytical dimension...Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune played by a flautist and pianist, on the other hand, sounds as natural as anything by this great aesthete of a composer ever could...All very beguiling.
