Notes & Reviews:

Victoria was a master at overlapping and dividing choirs with multiple parts, with a gradual decrease of rhythmic distance throughout. His setting of this mystical chant is one of the most beautiful and most-often performed pieces of the early Spanish repertory, and Escolanía del Escorial delivers a truly stunning performance here.
