Australian saxophonist Michael Duk studied at the Victorian College of the Arts, Indiana University and Berklee College of Music. He has performed with many of Australia's premiere orchestras and has been a featured artist that the ISCM World New Music Days. He was a faculty member at Indiana University and now teaches at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This disc offers new music for saxophone and piano by Australian composers.
