Markus Stockhausen (Trumpet)
Notes & Reviews:
Karlheinz Stockhausen, primarily known for his contemporary compositions, is featured here conducting music of the classical era by Mozart and Hadyn. Markus, Karlheinz Stockhausen's son, plays the solo part in Haydn's trumpet concerto
American Record Guide, March / April 2013
The readings are like many others in most respects. Both soloists have fine tone qualities, shape phrases nicely, and play with authority. In final cadenza of the Trumpet Concerto, Stockhausen finally let his sense of humor run free. We will be very impressed by how well Markus Stockhausen plays it.
