Notes & Reviews:

Russian composer Vadim Salmanov is among the representatives of the Petersburg/Leningrad school of composition who made a material contribution to the development of Russian music of the Soviet period. This is the first volume in a series that will present his complete string quartets.

American Record Guide, May/June 2013
Salmanov has a strong style and a unique voice in Soviet music; judging from these three works. These are excellent performances nonetheless. I eagerly look forward to the next installment. Notes in Russian and English.
