Notes & Reviews:

This symphony is dedicated to the Black Madonna of Czestochowa, the symbol of the entire Polish people for the independence from invading powers and also for the most profound religious devotion. The Votiva ranks as one of the high points in Panufnik's oeuvre, and it is certainly also his most-performed work.

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
The visionary Lirico's beautiful hymn based on the main theme is heard first in the strings, then the woodwinds, then the strings. Concerto Festivo is appealing. The performances are committed, the playing stunning, and the sound is excellent.

MusicWeb International, April 2013
Magnificently played, Panufnik's music could not have finer advocates and the sound is cool, crystal clear and well balanced. Indispensable listening for those interested in late-twentieth century music.
