Entertainment Weekly (p.73) - "Cole's fifth studio album serves as a time machine to the sweet, soulful R&B of the late '90s, when Brandy and Monica ruled the airwaves." -- Grade: B+

Woman to Woman is Keyshia Cole's fifth album. It follows 2010's Calling All Hearts, a Top Ten R&B/Hip-Hop album that failed to produce any major singles. Cole's first release without the support of A&R executive Ron Fair, Woman to Woman already features a Top Ten Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop hit in the form of the cathartic "Enough of No Love," featuring a verse from Lil Wayne. The ballad "Trust and Believe," the second single, addresses an ex who cheated on her with her best friend. Cole strove to make an album that appeals to her female fans (not that any of her first four albums could be criticized for pandering to men).
