Part of the Orange Tree Productions label's National Park Series, The Blue Ridge Mountains features a mix of ambient sounds and new age music. Here, the sounds of mountain wildlife, slowly rolling streams, and wind through the trees are mixed with compositions from Bill Mize and Randy Petersen. Musicians include Mize, Charlie Bisharat, and Grant Geissman, and the label donates a portion of each sale to the Blue Ridge Parkway, a National Scenic Parkway.
