Notes & Reviews:
Isabelle van Keulen s breakthrough came in 1984, when she won BBC Young Musician of the Year. The competition was broadcast all over Europe, and watched live on television by millions. Her versatility lies in the fact that she plays both the violin and the viola with the same energy, performing chamber music in all possible combinations and directing chamber orchestra performances. Her duo partner of 22 years is Ronald Brautigam, one of Holland s most respected musicians, and their chemistry is immediately obvious! Brautigam has received numerous awards including the Dutch Music Prize and the 2010 MIDEM Classical Award for Best Concerto Recording.
