Notes & Reviews:

The courtship and marriage of Robert Schumann and Clara Wieck is one of the great love stories in the history of music. Their relationship, embodying all the requisite elements of Romantic fiction, has taken on mythic proportions through its frequent depiction in novels and movies.

American Record Guide, July/August 2013
I have none of those recordings for comparison. This performance is technically assured, beautifully recorded. She plays both scherzos in Sonata 3. She comes to life in the two little pieces by Clara, a Nocturne in F (Op. 6:2) and the Ballet of the Ghosts (from Op. 5).
