Notes & Reviews:

"This is the third recording by the widely acclaimed University of Florida Clarinet Ensemble and it is an absolute treat." - Ira Novoselsky, Band World. Featuring Paul Harvey's The Young Person's Guide to the Clarinet Choir, which introduces us to the entire clarinet family.

American Record Guide, September/October 2013
Nevertheless, the UF Clarinet Ensemble plays a fine concert, boasting a clear and homogenous sound, good balance, solid technique, and nice phrasing. The low clarinets play with appropriate force and presence, the high clarinets add the right amount of color, and the B-flat clarinets in the middle handle their heavy workload admirably. Almost everyone enjoys a solo or duet line, and Dale Fedele's delightfully sassy E-flat clarinetistry in the Gershwin is particularly memorable. When everything is clicking, the Ensemble is a resonant pipe organ that mesmerizes, notably in the alluring opening of the Weber and all through the beautifully paced Barber. The group's serious approach to the great repertoire and sprinkle of humor and playfulness yet highly expressive genre should be.
