Notes & Reviews:

Greek pianist Paris Tsenikoglou began playing at the tender age of eight. He has won many awards including: first prize at the Athens International Piano Competition in 2001, first prize in Piano Competition at Thessaloniki in 2002 and in 2008 he won the Steinway Prize in Munich and became a scholar of the German National Academic Foundation.

American Record Guide, September/October 2013
Tsenikoglou's Images are finely rendered. The opening of 'Reflets dans l'eau' shimmers subtly, with the 16th-note chords deployed smoothly and weightlessly. His voicings are particularly beautiful. The textures are clean, light, and balanced. I especially like his detail oriented care with 'Cloches a travers les feuilles'. 'Hommage a Rameau' is expressive, once again showing his ability to sustain multiple lines simultaneously and independently. 'Mouvement' is delightful. These are more prosaic. His technique is good. His Debussy is promising. I would like to hear Tsenikoglou record more Debussy and Ravel.
