Notes & Reviews:

In the most complete edition possible, this recording features Mozart's horn concertos including the unfinished movements and the first movement of K412 in which Mozart wrote some scandalous text. Herman Jeurissen did all the research and is one of the top horn players in the world. The Netherlands Chamber Orchestra is conducted by an inspired Roy Goodman.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
Yet, the performances are joyful. The reconstructions of the great E-major and lovely E-flat works can be found nowhere else. The canonical four get fine readings. Dennis Brain's EMI performances will live forever. Nobody else could catch Mozart's smiles and chuckles the way he could. Tuckwell and Civil also brought joy and fire to these pieces, as did Timothy Brown. The disc comes with a bonus. A brilliant release from Brilliant with good liner notes from the soloist and lovely sound.

MusicWeb International, 23rd July 2013
Jeurissen, Goodman and the orchestra, complete with nicely rendered harpsichord, are perfectly in style: a genial blend of enchantment, panache and poetry. Jeurissen is very much at the centre and most points of the compass here yet with no suggestion of stifling Mozart.

BBC Music Magazine, January 2014
These fine Dutch performances on modern instruments feature the only recording of the D major Horn Concerto, K412 complete with Mozart's riotous annotations on the manuscript.
