Notes & Reviews:

A bright, beautiful baroque album recorded using a fine copy of Christian Zell's spectacular 1728 instrument! The keyboard builder, Paul Downie, built a close replica of one of the most lavishly decorated and sumptuous sounding of the extant German harpsichords. Within this unique album, the relationship between instrument and performer is brought to life in this recording of 18th-century German harpsichord music.
