Notes & Reviews:

Founded by flutist Marya Martin in 1984, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival (BCMF) is one of the leading chamber music festivals in the US. This recording is the third release on the festival's private BCMF Records label and features live performances from its 2012 season of works by Boccherini, Wolf, Martinu, and Thuille. Musicians appearing on the disc appear regularly at the festival and include leading soloists, chamber musicians and major orchestral principal players. The release of this disc celebrates our 30th Anniversay Season in the summer of 2013.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
Boccherini's pleasant Flute Quintet in B-flat is given a loving performance. Wolf's Italian Serenade and Martinu's bright Flute Trio are beautifully done. Ludwig Thuille was a German composer born in Italy (1861). His half-hour Sextet for piano and winds is like sunnier-than-normal Brahms. They're well crafted; and the whole piece is colorful and very enjoyable. The musicians are fully up to the tasks at hand.
