Notes & Reviews:

Beethoven's Sonata No. 26, 'Les adieux' reveals its fabled cantabile sound world, whilst Lowell Liebermann's 1989 Gargoyles, Op. 29 is an approachable, sensuous and vital piece of contemporary writing. Mussorgsky's vast Pictures at an Exhibitionis one of the virtuosic peaks of nineteenth-century pianism.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
This recording, part of the grand prize for winning the Jaen Competition, reflects Sun's impeccable technique and polish with highly formidable music. Gargoyles is astoundingly effortless and virtuosic, with textures outlined. The melody line floats above the accompaniment in III with great clarity.
