Notes & Reviews:

Bin Huang plays Beethoven on the "Guarneri del Gesù" 1742 owned by Nicolò Paganini and Bach on the Guarneri "Isaac Stern, ex Panette" 1737 owned by the famous violinist. Beethoven's Concerto in D major is an extraordinary work. The Partita No. 2 in D minor concludes with the Chaconne, one of the most memorable pieces of the entire violin literature.
