Notes & Reviews:

An emerging tenor Kyle Bielfield's debut recording treats the listener to an array of American songs both well-known and obscure, ranging from the earliest published domestic songs by Stephen Foster to living composers like Ned Rorem and Mark Abel. All of the texts are by American poets. The title theme derives from the album's three winning settings of former American Poet Laureate Robert Frost's signature poem, 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.'

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
Mr Bielfield is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School; this is his first recording. He has an easy, pleasant voice, one that's very understandable. I was not expecting to hear that melody in this context, but it's an attractive song. Paul Bowles's 'In the Woods' uses an effect that I've never heard.
