Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, May/June 2014
Astor Piazzolla's haunting 'Oblivion' sounds good when played by almost anyone who plays well, so it sounds fine here. And then there is the one recently composed work, Miroslav Srnka's Fan Faire (2009). It was originally scored for a mixed-instrument brass ensemble, and this arrangement by the composer is a good contrast to the older pieces. Very penetrating sounds are unleashed.
