Collet: Concertos Flamenco, Symphonie /Brain, Pasquier, etc

Reviews

stunningly original
This IS different. If you like Spannish music you will like this. My favourite on the CD is actually the symphony with its fabulous changing colours & rhythms. But the "Concertos Flamencoes" are terrific with , I think, the pinao conerto coming off better than the violin concerto. The composer, though French, was a student of Manuel de Falla I read. The orchestra is just great and their conductor Gary Brain conducts them as a spaniard would. A Febulous CD.
