This DVD was filmed in high definition format at the Sferisterio Opera Festival of Macerata in August 2007. As a bonus track, it contains an introduction to the opera by John Pascoe and Alan Curtis describing the set and explaining the plot. (Some may remember them from Vivaldi's 'Ercole' recorded last summer at the Spoleto Festival.
