Fanfare
Marc Minkowski leads a very good performance. He adopts reasonable tempos and provides sensitive support for the singers... The work is mostly complete... Benjamin Bruns (Oronte) and Adam Plachetka (Melisso) are... both... excellent... Kristina Hammarstr÷m (Bradamante) has the most pleasing voice. Her singing is in sharp contrast with the Alcina, Anja Harteros, and Morgana, Veronica Cangem... Alois Mnhlbacher (Oberto)... gives a surprisingly mature performance... If you want Alcina... this is your only reasonable choice.
