This new Philips recording includes a major Handel discovery, the "Gloria" for Soprano and String Orchestra, which recently came to light and has been called one of the most important Baroque discoveries in generations. Canadian soprano Gillian Keith, winner of the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Prize, is the soloist.
