Notes & Reviews:
Mozart was just 14 when he wrote this full-length opera - and it was his third! At the first performance in 1770 the audience leapt to its feet shouting "Viva il Maestro!" Though overshadowed by his later works, it contains much beautiful music that deserves to be heard more often.
