Notes & Reviews:

Bruhns was the most important student of Buxtehude and wrote primarily for the organ. He died at age 32, and only five of his organ works remain extant today. This album combines all of these peices with parallel works by Buxtehude and another important North German organist and composer, Arnold Mattias Brunckhorst.
