Mozart: Idomeneo, Ré di Creta / Davis, Gedda, et al

Album Summary

Performers Conductor Ensemble Composer

Notes & Reviews:

Mozart was only 24 when he wrote 'Idomeneo' but he already had seven operas to his credit. Although it is not his best-known opera today, it contains some of his finest music in one of the richest scores. A great cast is heard in this live 1971 performance from Rome.
