Notes & Reviews:
James Bowman has been one of the world's foremost countertenors for more than 30 years. He made his London debut in 1967 when he was invited by Benjamin Britten to sing at the opening concert of the new Queen Elizabeth Hall. His career has spanned opera, oratorio, contemporary music and solo recitals. Here Mr. Bowman joins one of Europe's leading period instrument orchestras, the King's Consort in a program of Handel, Buxtehude, J.C. Bach and J.W. Franck.
